Stratford-based cutlery brand, Studio William, has partnered with the UK’s tastiest Supper Club, Sauce, to give chefs and gourmands alike the chance to elevate their fine dining experience to a whole new level
Used in over 50 percent of Michelin-starred kitchens including Sat Bains, Heston Blumenthal, Adam Stokes, Michael Caines, Mark Birchall, Chris & Jeff Galvin, Tom Kerridge and Michael Wignall, to name just a few, Studio William Cutlery has become synonymous with premium quality, sophisticated and enduring design, and the types of fine cuisine served up twice monthly at the Sauce Supper Club.
Working with only the best chefs in the country, Sauce supply bespoke fine food ingredients to Michelin starred and fine dining establishments. Inspired by the exceptional cooking they regularly experienced, Sauce Founders, husband and wife team Beth and Jon Toovey, created what has since become one of today’s most sought after Supper Club series.
Want to dine and mingle with last year’s MasterChef winners and finalists? You got it! Sauce brings together fine dining experiences through a series of pop-up kitchen events where chefs from Michelin starred restaurants and highly commended chefs showcase their food and talents.
Now, diners at forthcoming Sauce Supper Clubs can look forward to having their gastronomic journey elevated to even greater heights as they experience firsthand Studio William’s Mulberry Creative Dining range. Designed and manufactured to enhance your dining experience through sensory shapes, forms and textures that challenge traditional perceptions of what cutlery is, the range comprises 52 bespoke pieces unique to Studio William, including ‘Leaf’ designed in collaboration with up-and-coming jewellery designer, Anabela Chan.
Sauce Supper Club co-Founder, Beth Toovey, says of the partnership: “We are very excited about the prospect of working with Studio William. The cutlery ranges are just fabulous and are sure to be a hit with the discerning diners who regularly attend our sell-out events. We hope to truly set ourselves apart by sharing unique insights into the role and importance of cutlery and tableware, with foodies who want to take their gastronomy to the next level.”
Guests attending the August 19th Supper Club at The National Theatre in London with Professional MasterChef 2018 winner Laurence Henry and fellow finalists Oli Martin and Matthew Ryle, will receive a complimentary Spork developed by Studio Williams as an alternative to single-use plastic cutlery, perfect for picnics, festivals and all your food-to-go needs!
Andrew Greenhalgh, PR & marketing manager for Studio William, adds: “Second only to the food, cutlery is the most important item on the table. We interact with it throughout every meal and rely on it to carry our food from plate to palate. This exciting collaboration with Sauce Supper Club will allow us to share our extensive knowledge and expertise in fine-dining – giving their distinguished members the chance to appreciate and enjoy each meal by challenging preconceptions and presenting new considerations that open up new sensory frontiers.”
Studio William will also be giving away a 42-piece Mulberry Cutlery Set worth £250, to the diner with the most popular Instagramable picture taken on the night!
