About Royal Stafford
Royal Stafford is based at the Royal Overhouse Manufactory in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. The factory is the longest running in Stoke-on-Trent, having been re-built in 1869 by Edward Challinor. Royal Stafford has been making fine English earthenware on this site since it was formed with the combination of the Royal Stafford and Barratt’s potteries in 1992.
Royal Stafford is an industry leader in the manufacturing of English cream coloured earthenware, a traditional Staffordshire product. We are one of only a handful of potteries where all production still takes place in England. Whilst some techniques now have a helping hand from technology, a lot of the production is still done by hand, by our skilled workforce. www.royalstafford.co.uk
