NEW YORK–Giftware retailers and buyers can head to Forty One Madison Aug. 15-19, where they’ll find many of the category’s top-tier brands exclusively exhibiting in their permanent showrooms.
More than 40 companies based at Forty One Madison will welcome visitors who also make the rounds at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center where NY Now is staged. Helping to set the tone for the show at Forty One will be a special lobby display from William Yeoward Crystal.
Forty One Madison will also offer complimentary mini-coach shuttle service between its Madison and 26th Street location and the Javits Center. The schedule of operation is daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and until 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Forty One Madison also is joining once again with Emerald Expositions and permanent showroom building 230 Fifth Avenue to offer summer show attendees a cultural treat. From Aug. 14-21, attendees who show their badges will be entitled to free admission to the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), plus a 20 percent discount (on full priced items) at The Store at MAD. Exhibitions on view at this 2 Columbus Circle museum include “Pathmakers: Women in Art, Craft and Design, Midcentury and Today,” an exploration of the important contributions of women to modernism in postwar visual culture; and “Ralph Pucci: The Art of the Mannequin,” which includes not only some 30-plus of Pucci’s most innovative “faux model” sculptures but also a gallery of jewelry designed by Isabel and Ruben Toledo.
