Denby

Denby Pottery has been hand-crafting stoneware in Derbyshire, England, since 1809. Using locally sourced “Derbyshire Clay,” Denby has built a reputation for producing some of the most durable and versatile tableware in the world.

1. Made in England

Every piece of Denby passes through at least 20 pairs of hands before it is finished. Their stoneware is fired at over 1200°C, making it vitrified and exceptionally strong—often described as “tough enough for everyday use, beautiful enough for best.”

2. The Glazing Secret

Denby is famous for its unique secret glaze recipes. Their “Halo” and “Imperial Blue” collections are modern classics, featuring rich, reactive glazes that create stunning tonal variations on every piece.
